“Teams are expected to play at their best at all times within any CS game, and to avoid any behavior inconsistent with the principles of good sportsmanship, honesty, or fair play.”

It was H2K’s overall behavior, the prolonged nature of it, and the addition of the ineffective item builds that led to this punishment.

There have been similar examples of this in the LCS, but definitely not to this severity. In those LCS cases, we have given warnings to players/teams on the importance of sportsmanship and playing one’s best. We take this very seriously.

Til sidst havde RIOT Games følgende at tilføje:

The Challenger Series is about featuring high level play and showcasing the next generation of LCS players. We do not tolerate teams that blatantly disrespect their competitors and detract from the spirit of the game. We take violations of the goals of the Challenger Series and the Summoner’s Code very seriously and will continue to enforce them.
